Great Hotpot with Sukiyaki soup base, and sterile egg. This allows you to have it in authentic Sukiyaki style where you use raw egg as a dipping sauce. The layer of egg coating on the meat would make it so creamy and rich in texture. This combination is very hard to find here especially in AYCE. They also have House Special Dipping Sauce that you could ask from the servers, save your hustle in making one. I added little more garlic and chili too, and it was great. The beef quality is comparable to many A-la-cart hot pot. Huge selection of vegetables, seafood, fish balls, and Tim Sum line as well. I love the peeled shrimp you wouldn't normally find in AYCE hot pot places. You can end the meal with various kind of fruits, they have ice jelly station and you can ask for a soft cream from the servers too. They have late night promotions which is a lot cheaper but even with the full price, this place is still worth it for me. They also have free parking for 2 hours at the back of the building which is a plus. Make sure to make a reservation if you plan to go during the rush hours as the place gets pretty busy really quick.

I recently had lunch at CHOCHO Hot Pot in Burnaby. While the price is on the higher side, I can confidently say it’s one of the best hot pot experiences in the lower mainland, making it well worth the splurge. The restaurant operates as an all-you-can-eat spot, with meats and specialty items conveniently ordered through a tablet. The process is smooth, and the service is attentive, quick, and efficient. Plates are cleared from the table promptly, keeping things tidy, while ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Each person gets their own burner, which is super convenient and adds to the personalized experience. The restaurant is relatively clean, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. However, getting a reservation is highly recommended. It’s a popular spot so securing a table during peak times can be challenging. CHOCHO Hot Pot doesn’t disappoint. The delicious food, excellent service, and thoughtful setup make it a place I’d gladly return to whenever I’m in the mood for hot pot. Highly recommended!

Visited Chocho Premium AYCE on Kingsway recently and had a great dining experience overall. The place is clean and modern, with a spacious seating area and a convenient digital ordering system through the tablet — very efficient! Service was friendly and prompt. Dishes came out quickly, and staff were attentive with clearing plates and checking in. Definitely worth it for groups or celebrations. Make sure to come hungry! Would happily return to try more next time.

Recently went here for Lunch with the family. It was around 60 per person for AYCE for 2 hours. We went on a Saturday at around 12:30 to 1ish and the wait was only a few minuted to be seated. 2 Hour FREE Parking is included, by parking in the lot behind the restaurant and then scanning at QR code at reception. So the way it works is you basically pay for the soup base (which is priced at 59.99), and order any sliced meats (no charge) on the iPad they give you. And any other vegetables, noodles or other add ons you want to put into your soup base is at the back for you to grab yourself. You have a 2 hour dining limit, but you can order as much meat as you’d like. They also have a dessert bar and sauce bar as well that you can customize to your liking. Afterwards they also give complimentary Soft Serve ice cream. Staff is very friendly and always checking in on you and collecting plates as you go. Definitely somewhere I’d go for more special occasions, rather than a normal outing.

Overall, there's really nothing to complain about with this AYCE hot pot place. The dining environment is quite comfortable, and the quality of the ingredients is decent and fresh. Ordering via tablet is very convenient, and the self-service bar offers a wide variety—not just hot pot ingredients, but also fried foods, appetizers, dim sum, desserts, and fruits. The service is also quite good. If you're looking for an above-average AYCE hot pot restaurant, this place is definitely worth the price.

April 21, 2025-Great time with the family. We had a spill and 5 staff were on it. We helped too because we felt bad. Cici was very kind noticing we had a young one at the table and dropped off a 3D puzzle! Our water was always replaced, our broth topped up. They were educated when it came to allergy information which we appreciated a lot. I do not know the other staff names but they were great. Especially for a place that gives you and iPad to order from. The meat is premium. The item selection is amazing. Even the bathroom has a log showing how often it is cleaned. They have everything right down to iced cream , deserts, and candy! Atmosphere is 5 too. 5 stars across the board. Thank you ChoCho staff, you made our day! PS. Kids eat free during daytime. December 2024- We didnt think we would find another great hotpot place but this one is off the hook top notch in so many ways. 2 weeks to book ahead. If you come after 9 pm its cheaper! Great service. Very busy. You can walk in and put your name down after 9pm and potentially get a spot if cancellation happens. Lots of parking. Quality food service and safety 5 stars.

First time going to hot pot, but all my Asian friends said that this was the best Hotpot ever. I could see why. Everything was very fresh and I had read the reviews prior to going and the other Google reviews are dead on. After reading those reviews, I was so excited to go. Everything like I said was fresh and high-quality. It is a bit pricey, but worth it, especially in these times. The service was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I had service like this. Since I’m not Asian, the server came and gave me so much personal attention. She taught me how to use the hot pot, gave me a bib, even took out my food from the hot pot onto the plate for me. You have to really keep to the two hour time limit though because close to two hours they’re coming and giving you the bill and shooing you out but as long as you know that you need to keep that two hour time limit then it’s fine. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with smiles on their faces. I highly recommend but it’s hard to get in so you need to make a reservation several days before.
